Manila Throwdown Team Edition Finals to be held on December 9, 2018 at the Vertis Tent, North EDSA
The premiere functional fitness competition in Manila is back with its 2nd leg - the Manila Throwdown 2018 Team Edition Finals this December 9, 2018 at the Vertis Tent, Quezon City. Competitive Fitness athletes from different parts of the Philippines and abroad have teamed up to compete and test their fitness at the most awaited competitive fitness event of the year.
Athletes will compete in teams of 3 comprised of 2 Males and 1 Female. There are two divisions, the RX Team division (for elite level) and the Scaled Team division (for new and intermediate athletes). Teams will have to work together and face three different sets of workouts that will test their skills in gymnastics, weightlifting, endurance and high-intensity workouts.
Over 200 athletes or 70 teams are expected to compete in this year’s Manila Throwdown Team Edition. Spectators and fitness enthusiasts from different parts of the Philippines and abroad are expected to attend and support their favourite teams. Aside from the competition, the Manila Throwdown will also feature a vendor village that will showcase brands in the fitness industry as well as food booths for everyone to enjoy.
The public is invited to watch and support their favorite athletes hailing from the different regions of the Philippines and neighboring countries. The general public is also welcome to enjoy and learn more about functional fitness and CrossFit. Participating athletes and guests will have the opportunity to meet other health & wellness enthusiasts, win prizes, shop and enjoy the scrumptious spread from local food vendors.
